It is the section from Nyköping's municipal border at Sillekrog to Sjösa that is now relevant.

The Swedish Transport Administration invites to a digital consultation due to the pandemic.

Several new details about how Ostlänken is planned along the route are now being released to the public.

- We see this as a milestone.

We have not shown more than the location of the railway line before, but now we have produced more information and can show how the railway construction in its entirety can be designed.

Among other things, how the road system in the area is affected, says Jonas Nimfelt, project manager for Ostlänken through Nyköping municipality.

"The debate does not affect"

The consultation will now begin and last until 1 June.

Everyone who submits their comments will receive a response when the results are published this autumn.

- Of course we welcome all comments, if there is something we can do better, we should definitely do it, says Jonas Nimfelt.

There is a debate going on about the station locations along the route - how does that affect?

- It does not affect this consultation. This section does not contain any stations and then we work with Ostlänken based on political decisions and there are such, says Jonas Nimfelt.
