He thanked the members of the Assembly for their support.
“I decided to transfer my right to head the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan to President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev,” Nazarbayev said.
Earlier, Nazarbayev congratulated the Nur Otan party on winning the parliamentary elections.
