Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - Despite the Corona lockdown, there was a small spring recovery on the Hessian labor market in March.
The regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency announced today in Frankfurt whether this development continued in April.
In March, the employment agency had registered 191,225 unemployed women and men.
That was 6,641 fewer than in February.
The unemployment rate fell by 0.2 points to 5.5 percent.
However, a year earlier at the beginning of the Corona crisis there were still 37 598 fewer unemployed.
The quota at that time was 4.5 percent.
The deadline for collecting the new figures was April 13th.
