Leipzig (dpa / sn) - In times of the corona pandemic, the participants of the German-Russian raw materials conference also meet digitally.
At the opening of the 13th edition of this forum, Saxony's Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer (CDU) will address a greeting today.
The conference is an important platform to discuss the status and perspectives of German-Russian cooperation in the energy and raw materials sector and to initiate bilateral cooperation projects, it said.
The focus of the discussions are the topics of sustainability, recycling management and environmental protection.
The program, consisting of plenary sessions, panels and round table discussions, is intended to offer participants the opportunity to deal with current specialist topics and questions about the future.
A panel discussion is devoted to German-Russian cooperation on the subject of hydrogen.
