Bremen (dpa) - According to the investigations, a fatal electric shock in a Bremen doctor's office was caused by improper craftsmanship.

After a renovation, several doors in the practice were under power, the police said on Wednesday.

Fresh paint initially isolated the metal frames.

However, when the paint peeled off, the insulation was lost.

A 53-year-old doctor touched a door handle on April 14 and was fatally electrocuted.

A practice employee and a firefighter were also injured.

The police are now determining which people did which work in the winter renovation.
