With a masterful free kick from Riyad Mahrez, Manchester City overthrew Paris SG (2-1) on Wednesday in the Champions League semi-final first leg and took an option in the final before the return match next Tuesday in England.

The strike of the Algerian international, native of Sarcelles (Val-d'Oise) in the Paris region, pierced the opposing wall (71st) to offer victory to City, while its captain Kevin De Bruyne (64th) had responded to the opening of the score of Marquinhos (15th).

PSG, reduced to ten after the exclusion of Idrissa Gueye (77th), will have to fight in the second round to hope to play a second consecutive final.
