Since April 1st, the Standing Vaccination Commission has only recommended vaccination with the Astrazeneca product for people over 60 years of age.

The reason were rare cases of certain cerebral vein thromboses.

According to the Robert Koch Institute, these serious, sometimes fatal side effects were mainly observed in women aged up to 55 years.
