The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, said that Iranian boats approached US naval ships in the Gulf region recently in an insecure and provocative manner, while the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf, called on neighboring countries to work together to expel US forces from the region.

General Milley added, in a speech to the McCain Forum, that the Iranians have a variety of ships and boats to patrol, and they have speed boats, and we also have in that region a variety of naval ships alongside our allies' ships as well as a large group of merchant ships crossing that region. .

He added that there have been some activities from Iranian boats in recent days, and they have approached the American ships, considering that this behavior is unsafe and provocative, and that "we are taking appropriate measures to protect ourselves."

On the other hand, Iranian Parliament Speaker Muhammad Baqer Qalibaf said that the foreign presence in the region is one of the reasons for destabilizing security and stability in it.

Qalibaf added that the US military presence in the Gulf waters aims to ensure Israel's security by affecting energy and the economy.

He called on Iran's neighboring countries to work together to remove US forces from the region through self-reliance, uniting ranks and strengthening deterrent and defensive power.
