Wörth / Karlsruhe (dpa) - After the derailment of two freight train wagons, the repair work on the damaged track systems in the Wörth station is under high pressure, according to Deutsche Bahn.

A railway spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

The accident on Monday evening led to the line between Wörth and Karlsruhe being blocked.

The double-track start of operations is planned for this Thursday from 2 p.m., said the spokeswoman.

However, there is a speed limit.

On Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., a single-track operation between Wörth and Karlsruhe is required again.

Deutsche Bahn regrets the restrictions and apologizes to passengers.

During a shunting run on a railway site, one wagon of a freight train was completely derailed and another wagon partially derailed.
