“The Holy See could be an ideal place for a dialogue about peace in Donbass,” the Ukrainian president said in an interview with La Repubblica.
He expressed confidence that the meeting with the Russian president would be "obligatory".
“This is necessary in order to stop the war in Donbass and complete the peace process,” he added.
Earlier, the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said that work is already underway to prepare a meeting between the Ukrainian and Russian leaders Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.
