Hösbach (dpa / lby) - A caravan on which no tires have been changed for 27 years has been withdrawn from traffic on Autobahn 3.
"The flanks of the tires already showed clear cracks," said the Aschaffenburg-Hösbach traffic police station on Wednesday.
The trailer was attached to a car and was noticed during a traffic control on Tuesday on the A3 near Hösbach (Aschaffenburg district).
To ensure that roadworthy tires were fitted, the patrol accompanied the driver to the tire dealer.
The 30-year-old faces a fine of 135 euros.
