Liu Youbin, spokesperson of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, informed that the third batch of inspections will be carried out in 8 provinces (regions) of Shanxi, Liaoning, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hunan, Guangxi and Yunnan in the second round.

Up to now, the inspection teams have basically completed the inspection work at the provincial level and the sinking stage.

  Liu Youbin pointed out that, in accordance with the Central Ecological and Environmental Protection Supervision Work Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"), during each term of the Party’s Central Committee, the party committees and governments of provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, relevant departments of the State Council and relevant central enterprises Routine inspector.

In 2019 and 2020, we will successively complete the second round of the first and second batch of central ecological and environmental protection inspections, covering 9 provinces (cities) including Shanghai and Fujian, China Minmetals, China National Chemical, Aluminum Corporation of China, China National Building Materials, etc. Four central enterprises and two departments of the National Energy Administration and the National Forestry and Grass Administration carried out inspections.

  Liu Youbin said that this year, with the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, the second round of the third batch of inspections will be carried out in 8 provinces (regions) in Shanxi, Liaoning, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hunan, Guangxi and Yunnan.

  Liu Youbin added at the meeting that since the inspectors were stationed, the inspection teams have closely focused on the key points of inspections, adhered to the system concept, adhered to the problem-oriented approach, adhered to precision, science and law, and effectively played the guiding and compelling role of ecological environmental protection.

In the inspection stage at the provincial level, through listening to briefings, reading materials, individual conversations, visiting inquiries, and accepting reports, we have grasped a number of clues to problems.

In the sinking inspection stage, go to the grassroots, the front line, and the scene to inspect the implementation of the ecological and environmental protection work of the prefectural and municipal party committees and governments.

During the period, on-site surveys and investigations were carried out for key issues and clues, and inspections were carried out on whether there was a "one size fits all" approach to passively responding to inspections.

At present, three batches of 24 typical cases have been exposed.
