Düsseldorf (dpa) - Prime Minister Armin Laschet (CDU) has announced special vaccination campaigns with an information campaign and mobile teams in the socially disadvantaged areas of the big cities.
Laschet said in the state parliament on Wednesday where people lived in cramped living conditions, the risk of being infected was greater than in a spacious single-family home.
Therefore, a focus must now be set on vaccination, where people live closer together than elsewhere.
High incidences should not depend on the postcode, emphasized the head of government, referring to the large differences in the level of infection in the districts of Cologne.
