Act quickly to prevent a terrorist text, photo or video from garnering thousands of views on the internet.

This is the objective of the promoters of the text.

The cross-border nature of these withdrawals was the central point of the discussions.

It very often happens that the content is seen in a Member State or broadcast in a Member State, but in fact the host platform comes from another Member State,

"

The fears of certain groups

A provision that worries environmentalists.

"

The regulation does not provide for a general monitoring obligation for platforms, nor for the use of automated filters.

Educational, journalistic and artistic content will be excluded from the text.
