Buttelstedt (dpa / th) - A ten-year-old boy found a grenade while playing on a stream in Buttelstedt (Weimarer Land district), as the police announced on Wednesday.
The day before, the child informed his mother about the strange object, which the police called.
Specialists from a munitions clearance service identified the find as explosives.
It was professionally recovered and removed.
According to the police, it was still unclear where the grenade came from.
