Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The Brandenburg state parliament is discussing the results of the federal and state vaccination summit today (10:00 a.m.).

Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) wants to explain to parliament how the corona vaccination campaign in Brandenburg is to be significantly accelerated.

After the consultations at the vaccination summit on Monday, Woidke had expressed the hope that with significantly more vaccine deliveries, the number of corona vaccinations in Brandenburg could be doubled to 200,000 per week in the coming weeks.

The parliamentary groups of Left and BVB / Free Voters are calling for more freedom for fully vaccinated citizens.

Left parliamentary group leader Sebastian Walter had demanded clear statements from the state government.

BVB / Free Voters are pressing for a concrete perspective for opening up business and culture.

Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) spoke of a difficult consideration after the vaccination summit.

In Brandenburg, however, there is already equality between completely vaccinated and negatively tested people in areas such as hairdressers or animal parks, in which a negative test is necessary.
