April 27, 2021 The simplified smart working regime could be extended until next September.

The possibility of the government study emerged during the discussion between the Minister of Labor, Andrea Orlando, CGIL CISL UIL and UGL and the employers' associations.

"Agile work has taken on a social value that impacts on city life", Orlando reportedly said, closing the meeting remotely.

The companies would have asked for a longer time, at least until December, but the government limited itself to hypothesizing the shift of the date from 31 July to the end of September.

For the future, however, the path traced by the executive would include the possibility that agile work can continue on the basis of a "voluntary framework agreement" between the social partners, perhaps with the support of tax incentives and more.
