Leipzig (dpa) - Coach Julian Nagelsmann does not want to take any more RB Leipzig players to Bayern Munich over the previously committed Dayot Upamecano in the summer.

"It's quite normal in the special situation where RB has also done something for me that I'm not starting to dig at the players," said the 33-year-old on Tuesday at a digital press conference.

"I'm not going to rent a T6 or whatever to drive to Munich and have one or two good players from Leipzig with me."

In mid-February, Bayern had already made the commitment of the central defender Upamecano for the new season for 42.5 million euros.

The change from Coach Nagelsmann to the German record champions was officially announced on Tuesday.

Nagelsmann's assistant coach Benjamin Glück and team manager Timmo Hardung are going to Munich.

“They have already come with me from Hoffenheim and are moving on with me.

This is so agreed with the club, ”said Nagelsmann.
