Closed since October 30, 2020, “Strasbourg's municipal museums are ready to reopen their doors next month,” the Strasbourg municipality announced in a press release.

And as good news never comes alone, to celebrate this long-awaited reopening, the city has decided to make its museums free until June 30, 2021 (except the zoological museum closed for renovations until 2024).

Free admission will be effective as soon as the network reopens, both “for the permanent collections and for temporary exhibitions,” the city further specifies.

Free online booking

The cultural program will be unveiled in the coming weeks with the publication of a new calendar which will make it possible to benefit more widely from the exhibitions scheduled for last fall.

Be careful though, because of the health context and to guarantee the best conditions for access and specific visits to the city, a free online reservation system will be set up for visitors.
