In Côte d'Ivoire, the authorities have decided to suspend all driving license inspectors to fight fraud and corruption.

The gendarmes will now take the exam to give the government some time to reform it.  

All the newspapers in Abidjan speak of this drastic measure taken by the authorities: all the inspectors responsible for passing the driving license in Côte d'Ivoire are suspended from their duties.

They are temporarily replaced by gendarmes.

The Ivorian government now intends to fight against a common practice.

On the day of the exam, the candidate handed an envelope of tickets to the inspector against the certainty of obtaining the necessary driving license.

The examination then lasts barely a few minutes.

But from May 3 and for 3 months, only the police will be authorized to deliver the precious sesame.
