The updated situation in Italy and in the world

There are 10,404 coronavirus test positives in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 8,444. Instead, there are 373 victims in one day (yesterday 301). 



There are 302,734 molecular and antigenic swabs for the coronavirus carried out in the last 24 hours in Italy, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday the tests were 145,819. The positivity rate is 3.4% (-2.4% compared to yesterday). 



There are 2,748 patients hospitalized in intensive care for Covid in Italy, down by 101 units compared to yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries, according to data from the Ministry of Health, were 177 (yesterday 132). On the other hand, 20,312 people are hospitalized in the ordinary wards, a decrease of 323 compared to yesterday. 



In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 3,981,512, the deaths 119,912. The currently positive ones are instead 448,149 (-4,663 compared to yesterday) while the healed and discharged are 3,413,451 (+14,688). In home isolation there are 425,089 people (-4,239). 



In Campania 1,654 cases were detected, in

Lombardy 1,369

and 1,056 in Puglia.



Campania

There are

1,654

the positives of the day in Campania, of which 528 symptomatic, out of 18,035 molecular swabs processed. These are the data released by the regional crisis unit. The ratio of positives to swabs is 9.2%. 37 people died (25 in the last 48 hours) and 1,657 those recovered. From the beginning of the Covid emergency to date, 6,305 victims have been in Campania, while 288,080 people have been healed. There are 136 hospitalized patients in intensive care, five fewer than yesterday, out of 656 beds available, while there are 1,506, 21 less than yesterday, out of a total of 3,160 available hospital beds.



Puglia

In Puglia today, 14,623 tests for Covid-19 infection were examined and

were recorded

positive cases and 36 deaths, according to what was announced by the region. Since the beginning of the emergency, 2,186,084 tests have been carried out, 176,295 patients are cured and 48,661 are currently positive cases.



Lazio

There are

939

new positive cases in the last 24 hours in Lazio. There are 34 daily deaths. Hospitalizations are decreasing: intensive care is 14 less (317 in total), while ordinary hospitalizations drop by 42 units (2,369 in all). There are 1,350 healed today. The ratio between positives and buffers is 5%, but if the antigenic substances are also considered, the percentage is 2%. Cases in Rome city are at 400. On April 29 at midnight, Councilor D'Amato remembers, "we open reservations for the ages 59/58 (ie those born in 1962 and 1963)".



Emilia Romagna

The daily bulletin of the Region indicates that there are

infections

based on 30,756 swabs in the last 24 hours, average age 38 years. In intensive care there are 246 patients (22 fewer than yesterday) and in the other Covid departments 1,833 people (28 fewer). However, there are 19 other victims, including a 52-year-old woman in the province of Piacenza. The active cases, i.e. the actual patients, are 47,803 to date, more than 700 fewer than yesterday, and of these almost 96% are in home isolation. 



Piedmont

The Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region has today communicated

667

new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19. The total of positive cases thus becomes 346,114. Intensive care patients are 240 (-7 compared to yesterday), full places in the ordinary wards amounted to 2,308 (-96 compared to yesterday). There are 14,216 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 4,307,873 (+17,736 compared to yesterday), of which 1,480,753 were negative. The total is now 11,185 deaths. A total of 318,165 patients recovered (+965 compared to yesterday).



Calabria

To date, 705,975 subjects have been tested in Calabria for a total of 759,229 swabs performed. The people tested positive for Coronavirus are 58,705 (+

compared to yesterday), the negative ones 647,270. These are the daily data relating to the Covid-19 epidemic communicated by the Health Protection Department, which record -1 intensive care, +601 recovered / discharged and another 9 deaths.
