A boat carrying the bodies of 17 migrants found near the Canary Islands
A Spanish local emergency agency said in a tweet that the Coast Guard found a boat carrying the bodies of migrants and three survivors south of the small island of Elro in the Canary Islands on Monday.
"The search-and-rescue plane rescued three migrants from a boat found south of El Yero with several bodies on board," 112 Canarias said.
And the Spanish News Agency stated that the number of dead is 17.
The three survivors, two men and a woman, were taken to hospital.
