Bahretal (dpa / sn) - Unknown persons set fire to a wheel loader in Bahretal (district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains) and caused around 90,000 euros in damage.
The almost new construction machine was stolen from company premises at the weekend and driven across several fields, the police said on Monday.
The perpetrators then parked them in a quarry and set them on fire.
The vehicle was completely destroyed.
Now it is being investigated for arson and property damage, it said.
