Nikolenko called the expulsion of an employee of the Ukrainian Embassy in Russia a provocation.
In his opinion, this decision is "devoid of logic, has no reason."
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that an employee of the Ukrainian embassy was declared persona non grata "in connection with the unfriendly actions of the Ukrainian side."
The department warned that additional measures could be taken against Kiev.
