Saudi Arabia .. Closing 39 mosques after testing positive for Corona

Yesterday, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs announced that it had temporarily closed 39 mosques in 8 regions, after new cases of the new Corona virus that causes (Covid-19) were confirmed among the worshipers.

The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs said in a statement yesterday that the total of mosques that were closed during the past 79 days amounted to 862 mosques, 801 of which were opened after the completion of the sterilization and the completion of the readiness.

The Ministry called on worshipers and mosque employees to adhere to the instructions for precautionary measures for the safety and health of those visiting the homes of God.

And earlier today, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that 13 new deaths from the Corona virus had been recorded, bringing the total deaths in the Kingdom to 6,913 cases.

The ministry indicated that 958 new cases of the virus were detected, bringing the total number of infections to 413,174.

The Ministry also pointed out that 1,047 new recovery cases were registered, bringing the total of those recovering to 396,604.
