Munich (AP) - 1. FC Saarbrücken has preserved its small chance of promotion in the 3rd soccer league and increased the concerns of the second representative of FC Bayern Munich.
The newcomer from Saarland won 4-0 (2-0) in the Grünwalder Stadium on Monday evening and moved up to six points on the relegation rank three.
This is currently occupied by Bavaria's city rival TSV 1860 Munich.
The goals for the victorious guests were scored by Minos Gouras (10th minute), double goal scorer Nicklas Shipnoski (20th / 69th) and substitute Sebastian Jacob (89th).
Munich, on the other hand, missed the leap out of the relegation zone in their 15th defeat of the season.
With 35 points, FC Bayern is currently 18th and third from last, the last four clubs are relegated to the regional league.
Up to SV Meppen, who is currently in 16th place, they are only two points behind with four remaining games.
