Both the Social Citizens' Council Jan Jönsson (L) and the regional police chief Mats Löfving participated in the press conference on Monday.

The message was clear, it will be more difficult for criminal networks to exploit women in the form of human trafficking.

The collaboration agreement that has now been concluded means, among other things, that the city will further train all social secretaries and that the city will be more active during the police's efforts.

- It will be difficult for perpetrators to deal with this crime in Stockholm, says regional police chief Mats Löfving.

Neighboring municipalities should be able to get help

The City of Stockholm also presented that other municipalities in the county have joined the agreement, which means that residents from other municipalities can take part in the clinics that work against prostitution in Stockholm.

- Their residents receive part of the receptions' support that has otherwise been reserved for the residents of the city of Stockholm.

Their social services can simply refer people.
