Live Last minute of the coronavirus
A Miami private school asked its teachers and staff not to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by further announcing that it will not hire those who do so by
falsely arguing that those vaccinated can infect
those who are not.
The Centner Academy, located in the Downtown Miami Design District, warned of the new policy in a letter signed by
Leila Centner,
one of its founders.
The circular, which was released by the local CBS channel, indicates that those who have
not
been vaccinated
should not get the "experimental injection of covid-19."
Without citing sources, the letter speculates that "recently there have been reports of unvaccinated people being negatively affected by interacting with people who have been vaccinated."
The school, which has about 300 students, asks "any employee" not to get vaccinated until the end of the school year
for the supposed protection of the students.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization and many other authorities have concluded that covid-19 vaccines are
safe and effective.
The school in South Florida, a state in which
more than 8.5 million people
have been vaccinated
,
details that "it is our policy" as far as possible not to employ anyone who has been vaccinated.
It points out without scientific support that "tens of thousands" of women in the world have presented
reproductive problems due to being close to a vaccinated person.
More than 35,000 people have died since the beginning of the pandemic in Florida, a state that has accumulated more than 2.2 million cases of covid-19 as of this Monday, of which about 480,000 have been registered in Miami-Dade, according to the state Department of Health.
