Medvedev, during a meeting on scaling up the production and introduction of Russian vaccines against COVID-19, said that according to the manufacturers' plan in the first half of 2021, more than 50 million vaccine kits should go into civilian circulation.

He said that by mid-April, about 28.5 million kits of the three vaccines were ready in total.

According to him, about 15.5 million vaccine kits have been introduced into civilian circulation.

“I would like to note that the production of the vaccine, despite the results achieved, has very serious growth prospects that must be realized,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
