Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - 1. FC Nuremberg wants to continue its strong season final spurt against the promotion candidates of the 2nd Bundesliga.

The traditional Franconian club will receive fourth place Holstein Kiel on Tuesday (6.30 p.m. / Sky).

The “Club” then competes at the Third Hamburger SV on May 10th, before facing front-runners VfL Bochum in the home game on May 16th.

"We just want to win our games," announced coach Robert Klauss on Monday.

The goal is to "lay down three good weeks".

In the ascent race, local rival SpVgg Greuther Fürth is also promising as second.

"It's crazy up there in the league right now," said Klauss.

His Nuremberg team can plan for the next second division season after six games without defeat.
