Braunschweig / Wolfsburg (dpa / lni) - Four men from Wolfsburg will be on trial from Tuesday (9:00 a.m.) for the violent death of a relative.

They are accused of jointly committed manslaughter of a family member, as the regional court in Braunschweig announced.

A prolonged dispute in the extended family of Turkish origin is said to have resulted in the four men killing the son-in-law of the sister of a defendant in the street in September 2020.

A 46-year-old father, his two 24-year-old twin sons and his 25-year-old son-in-law are in the dock.

They are said to have hit the victim with a massive steel chain.

In addition, the man with whom he had previously tried to defend himself was stabbed with a knife.

He died on the scene.

The four alleged perpetrators came into custody.
