Kiel (dpa / lno) - Schleswig-Holstein's Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU) is satisfied with the fact that the prioritization of the corona vaccination is maintained until June.

According to the result of the vaccination summit, it should be lifted by the federal and state governments if the vaccination progress allows it.

"So we can concentrate on groups two and three as planned in May," said Günther after the summit on Monday.

A first step in the opening of group three was the vaccinations for 60 to 69 year olds with Astrazeneca via the family doctor's practices on Monday.

"We will discuss how to proceed in our Jamaica coalition."

Günther welcomed the fact that by June at the latest the company doctors will also be included in the vaccination campaign and that the vaccines will be distributed to the federal states according to the population index.

"In this way, employees in Schleswig-Holstein can benefit and the vaccination campaign is accelerated again," said the head of government.

Also from the point of view of the SPD state chairman Serpil Midyatli, it is good that there will be prospects for the lifting of vaccination prioritization by June at the latest.

"This is an important milestone in the direction of normality," she said.

She would have wished that there was already a decision on the legal treatment of vaccinated and convalescent people.

"This now affects millions of people in Germany and fortunately many more are added every week."
