Augsburg (dpa / lby) - FC Augsburg loses midfielder Rani Khedira to league rival Union Berlin.
The 27-year-old is the capital's club’s first newcomer for the coming season.
Khedira is coming on a free transfer as his contract with FCA expires in the summer.
He switched from RB Leipzig to the Augsburg Bundesliga team in the summer of 2017.
“Union has made considerable progress in recent years.
I am delighted to be part of this team from the coming season and to help establish myself in the Bundesliga, ”explained Khedira, who has played 25 times for Augsburg in the Bundesliga so far this season.
