Stuttgart (Stammheim) (dpa) - A dozen men, many guns, right-wing chat groups, hatred of the existing social order: After a forced break due to several corona infections in the Stuttgart prison, the trial of twelve alleged members will start this morning (9 a.m.) and supporter of the right-wing terrorist association «Gruppe S.»

On the third day of the trial, a 51-year-old defendant is expected to testify.

The terrorist organization "Gruppe S.", named after its alleged ringleader Werner S., is said to have hoarded weapons and planned attacks.

According to the prosecution, the men wanted to raid mosques and kill Muslims in order to create "conditions similar to civil war".

Of the twelve accused, eleven are in custody, one is at large.

The defendants were arrested on February 14, 2020.

The state security procedure is a mammoth process with dozens of participants, negotiations are blocked until mid-2022.
