Essen (dpa / lnw) - The new week in North Rhine-Westphalia starts in a friendly way.

The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts sunshine for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

There can be maximum temperatures of 17 degrees.

With a little luck, twenty degrees are possible on Wednesday, said a meteorologist on Monday.

In the nights, however, there is still a risk of frost.

From Thursday the weather should be changeable.

Then, according to the DWD, rain showers and even thunderstorms are possible.
