April 25, 2021 "We are relieved to learn that the boat in distress reported by Alarm Phone last Tuesday night has reached Tunisia. The Ocean Viking team has been looking for the boat all day Wednesday. We hope that the approximately 42 people have survived and are safe ". So on Twitter Sos Mediterranée communicated the probable finding of the migrant dinghy that left Tuesday evening from a stretch of the Libyan coast on the border with Tunisia.

The #Oceanviking team had been looking for the boat in distress all day Wednesday but without success.

A tragic ending was feared after the deaths at sea in recent days, in particular the shipwreck - defined as the worst of this year by the International Organization for Migration (IOM / IOM) -, which took place in the Central Mediterranean with 130 people drowned in the off Libya after asking for help for two days without getting an answer.

Alarm Phone communicated what happened on Twitter: "A relative of one of the 42 people who had called us on Tuesday evening when they were at sea in danger and that the Ocean Viking crew searched in vain, informed us that the boat could having arrived in Tunisia. We hope that it is true and that all people are alive. "

Alarm Phone as soon as he heard the news immediately sent the report to the French NGO Sos Mediterranée, which through the Ocean Viking ship, was continuing the search for the boat with the 42 people.
