Munich (dpa) - According to media reports, there should be contact between FC Bayern and RB Leipzig because of a possible change from Julian Nagelsmann to the Munich team.

The Leipzigers are demanding a transfer fee in the double-digit million range for their courted coach.

According to the "Bild" newspaper, RB should demand 30 million euros.

The 33-year-old has been associated with the German record champions since Hansi Flick expressed his wish to leave in Munich.

Nagelsmann still has a contract in Leipzig until 2023 and has no release clause.

According to information from the broadcaster Sport1 and sportbuzzer.de, FC Bayern is said to have contacted RB Leipzig about Nagelsmann.

Last Tuesday, RB sports director Markus Krösche had emphasized that the Leipzig rivals had not yet been contacted by the league rival.

“It doesn't make sense to give transfer fees or price tags.

Julian has a long-term contract and a very good team, ”Krösche told Sky TV.

Leipzig was therefore not looking for a coach itself.

In any case, there will be discussions with Flick about a probable termination of the contract at FC Bayern.

The 56-year-old is being traded as the successor to national coach Joachim Löw, who is leaving his post after the European Championships.

“We have agreed that we will sit down after the game in Mainz,” said Bayern's CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge of “Bild am Sonntag”.

When asked about a possible transfer fee for Flick, the Bayern boss said: "If we are to meet Hansi's request, all parties must work together to find a solution that FC Bayern is also satisfied with."
