Kuhlen (dpa / mv) - A fire broke out on Monday morning in a cattle barn in Kuhlen near Brüel (Ludwigslust-Parchim).
As a police spokesman explained, the employees and firefighters managed to get the majority of the cattle out of the 20-meter long stable.
How many animals could no longer be saved was still unclear.
The alarm had sounded at the fire brigade around 7:00 a.m.
Several fire brigades from the region were on fire.
The cause of the fire and the amount of damage are still unclear.
