Nuremberg (AP) - SC Magdeburg has received the sixth defeat of the season in the handball Bundesliga.

At HC Erlangen, the Elbestädter were defeated by 28:30 (16:12) despite leading at half time.

The best thrower at SCM was Christian O'Sullivan with twelve goals, for Erlangen Steffen Fäth and Sebastian Firnhaber were the most successful with five goals each.

Magdeburg took the first lead of the game at 4: 3 (7th).

Klemen Ferlin, goalkeeper of the HCE, twisted his standing leg during a parade (13th) and was eliminated with a suspected knee injury.

The game remained close because no team could boast decisive advantages on the defensive.
