Darmstadt (dpa / lhe) - After a man in Darmstadt drove towards several family members in a car, the investigation continues.
The 45-year-old was released on Sunday, as the police in South Hesse and the Darmstadt public prosecutor jointly announced.
So far, there are no sufficient reasons to justify bringing the man before the judge.
No one was injured in the incident on Saturday.
The relatives - wife, sister-in-law and three children - were not captured by the vehicle and had brought themselves to safety, it said.
According to the police, the 45-year-old had drunk alcohol.
According to the current status, the public prosecutor and the police assume, among other things, a dangerous interference with road traffic.
