Led to the score at half-time, FC Nantes reversed the trend to win a capital success (2-1) which allows him to leave the relegation zone on Sunday during the 34th day of L1.

Under the eyes of their president Waldemar Kita, the Nantes people first achieved a catastrophic first period, marked by the opening of the score of Ludovic Ajorque (43rd), before showing a completely different face after the break and registering two goals by Jean-Charles Castelletto (53rd) and Ludovic Blas (76th).

The Canaries, who remained on three defeats and a draw, now total 31 points and leave the penultimate place to seize that of play-off to the detriment of Nîmes, beaten in Lens (2-1) and now relegated due a poorer goal difference (-29 against -17).

This mental victory could mark a turning point in the fight to maintain FCN, which has regained control and has a less complicated schedule than the Crocodiles, who will challenge Lyon and Rennes in particular during the last two days.

The RCSA has missed the opportunity to ensure its maintenance and will still have to grab a few points by the end of the season to obtain it.

Stuck in 15th place, Thierry Laurey's men are only six lengths ahead of Nantes and Nîmes. *

- Lafont decisive -

From the start of the match, Strasbourg put pressure on Nantes and Alban Lafont notably saved his team by deflecting a close-range strike from Ajorque (27th) with his left arm and then pushing back a free kick from Dimitri Liénard deflected by Blas ( 31e).

Just before half-time, the Alsatians were rewarded for their domination by opening the scoring: on the left flank Lionel Carole delivered a superb cross for Ajorque, who concluded with a header (1-0, 43rd).

Returning from the locker room, the Canaries, who had not attempted a single shot in the first period, finally woke up and after a curled shot from Pedro Chirivella deflected by Matz Sels (52nd), they equalized with the head by Castelleto on a corner from Imran Louza (1-1, 53rd).

Randal Kolo Muani then called on the Strasbourg goalkeeper on two dangerous crosses in front of goal (60th, 64th).

In the meantime, Lafont was still decisive by pushing back a strike from Jean-Eudes Aholou (59th).

Nantes finally managed to take the advantage after a backlash: after capturing a Strasbourg corner, the FCN goalkeeper threw Chirivella, who slipped the ball to Moses Simon, whose center was pushed to the bottom by Blas (1-2, 76th).
