“We wanted to organize a concert at the beginning, but with the Covid-19 crisis, that was not possible.

So came the idea of breaking a radio record and joining a fund for the association, ”explains the young man.

Enough to bring back to light “A jersey for life” for a challenge.

Because the health crisis has considerably reduced the charitable activities of the association which provides support to hospitalized children, often thanks to interventions by high-level athletes.

A preparation "like a sportsman"

“Today, very occasionally, we organize events.

We send gifts and make children's dreams come true from a distance.

We are trying to renew ourselves, but it is not easy, ”notes Maryline Dieuze, its deputy director.

To make this dream come true, and especially not to fall asleep after 24 hours, Thomas Lage prepared himself "like a sportsman" for more than a month.

“In particular, I began to meditate to avoid the trap of falling asleep, I have the right to 20 minutes of rest every four hours.

Everything is suitable, both in terms of meals and drinks, I must not take stimulants like coffee, ”explains the host.

At the microphone, during this very very long program, he will welcome guests, whether they are renowned sportsmen or singers like Fabian Ordonez, the father of Bigflo & Oli, or the tenor in crampons Omar Hasan.

To liven up the nights, he will talk about various facts, for example by receiving Patrice Alègre's lawyer, meditation or sexology.

What to try to hold until Thursday.
