Blomberg (dpa) - The successful streak of handball players at SV Union Halle-Neustadt is torn.
The Bundesliga climber lost his guest appearance at third in the table HSG Blomberg on Sunday with 22:31 (11:12) and left the floor as a loser for the first time after four wins in a row.
The SV Union suffered its last defeat on February 28 at 17:29 against Bietigheim.
Nele Franz (7/3) and Laura Rüffieux, Ndidi Agwunedu and Malina Marie Micgalzik (4 each) had the largest share in Blomberg's success.
Helena Mikkelsen (6) and Sophie Lütke (4/1) scored the most goals for Halle.
The guests designed the first 30 minutes completely evenly, after 17 minutes they were even 8: 6 ahead.
But the Halle women slept through the start of the second half, as they made too many mistakes in attack during this phase.
Blomberg moved away from 16:11 (36th) to 21:14 (45th) and had thus ended the game.
