Irresponsible hedonists - that was still one of the moderate tirades of rant that German vacationers had to endure at Easter.

What do these unrestrained leisure freaks allow themselves by making away from the raging of our pandemic into the southern sun!

Hadn't Ischgl's super spreaders demonstrated how perfidious unrestricted mobility spreads dangerous microbes across the continent? Hadn't our Obermahner Lauterbach predicted with a routine cemetery expression that mutations like the Brazilian one would find their death train from Mallorca right into the vulnerable heart of Germany? Not to forget his insults to the Spanish doctors, whom Lauterbach incidentally accused of systemic quarreling.

Thousands of jolly hedonists nevertheless left for Mallorca during the Easter holidays.

Many were certainly astonished by the tough regime on site - with mask compulsory, ban on indoor catering and rigorous tests at the airport.

Apparently, the Spanish authorities got the pandemic under control much better than any German panic orchestra.

Despite the Easter vacationers, Mallorca today is less than a fifth of the German incidence figures.

No mortal mutation migrated, only a few package tourists - anyway sterile and all inclusive sealed off - tested positive.

Could it be that the corona risk in the bus to work or in a German factory is greater than in an airplane or a hotel full of tested people?

The refuted Karl Lauterbach did not turn down his warning siren.

Because the sun tourists have long since fulfilled their discursive duties;

they could easily be denounced for the short-term memory of the media and steered the anger in the right direction.

Like in a prison where inmates get jealous of a few privileged outdoor prisoners.

Vacation?

Now?

In the south?

That would be even nicer!
