Anders Kompass, who has now retired, is best known for his work at the UN.

When he sounded the alarm about sexual abuse of underage boys in the Central African Republic in 2014, committed by soldiers linked to the UN, he was first suspended from his workplace.

After an external investigation, however, came an international recognition and Kompass was hailed as a whistleblower.

"It still shakes me when I think about it, that some could see this and choose to look away.

I'll probably never get over it.

And I think it is important that you never stop being horrified by abuse that takes place ", says Anders Kompass according to a press release from IM.
