Berlin / Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - The number of new corona infections recorded within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants in Saxony-Anhalt is 166.4.

That comes from figures from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) from Saturday morning.

On Friday, the RKI had a value of 169, after 162.8 on Thursday.

According to the information, 803 new corona infections and 13 new deaths related to the virus were reported to the RKI within 24 hours.

The nationwide seven-day incidence was 164.4 on Saturday, according to the RKI.

Almost 23,400 cases had been reported.

For the Burgenland district, the RKI showed the highest seven-day incidence in the country on Saturday at 274.0.

Two other districts were above the 200 mark: the Saale district with 227.9 and the district of Mansfeld-Südharz with 203.1.

The district of Börde alone fell below the value of 100 with 88.3. The ten other districts and independent cities were between 100 and 200.
