The three elections, including the re-election of the Hiroshima constituency of the House of Councilors, which will be the first national election for the Kan administration, will be voted on the 25th.

Candidates continue their final proceedings, such as on the streets.

The re-election of the Upper House Hiroshima constituency was held with the invalidation of Mr. Anri Kawai, who was found guilty of violating the Public Offices Election Act over the upper house election, and six newcomers ran for the election.

In the composition of the ruling and opposition party confrontation between candidate Miyaguchi recommended by the opposition party and candidate Nishida recommended by the ruling party, a fierce election campaign was developed with issues such as "politics and money" as issues.

Candidate Miyaguchi made speeches in various places with the acting representative of the Constitutional Democratic Party, Renho, who received support, saying, "I want to deliver a small voice to politics."

Candidate Miyaguchi said, "Current politics is suitable for only some people. Regarding the acquisition case, we have to make a conclusion based on the outcome of the election. Please entrust your voice and thoughts to me." I appealed.

Candidate Nishida, along with Chairman Kishida of the Liberal Democratic Party Hiroshima Prefectural Federation, called for support in various places, saying, "Change the Liberal Democratic Party from Hiroshima."

Nishida said, "This re-election is an election to make tomorrow. I want you to give me a chance to change the LDP and politics only once. I want you to make it a restart day to overcome the political gap and regain credible politics." I appealed.

Candidate Yamamoto argued that a system was needed so that only those who paid the license could watch the NHK broadcast.

Candidate Yamamoto complained, "It is the only national political party that can work on NHK's scrambled broadcasting. It will destroy NHK with the citizens of Hiroshima Prefecture."

By the 23rd, more than 8% of voters, or 198,808, had voted early in the Hiroshima constituency, a decrease of more than 86,000 compared to the same period in the adult elections.

On the 25th, similar to the re-election in Hiroshima, there will be a by-election in the Nagano constituency of the House of Councilors, which was the composition of the confrontation between the ruling and opposition parties, as well as a by-election in the 2nd ward of the House of Representatives in Hokkaido.

This is the first national election for the Suga administration, and measures against the new coronavirus are also issues, and the results are likely to affect the strategies of the ruling and opposition parties for the next House of Representatives election.

Voting will take place on the 25th and will be counted the same day.
