His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, discussed in Cairo yesterday the deep-rooted fraternal relations and ways to develop various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries in a way that achieves their mutual interests, in addition to To the latest developments in regional and international issues and files of concern to the two countries.

His Highness and President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi - in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs - touched on the developments of the Corona pandemic in the two countries and the world, and the efforts made to limit its repercussions at various levels.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness and President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, calling on God Almighty to be a month of goodness and blessing for the peoples of the two countries and all Arab and Islamic peoples, and for peace and harmony to prevail for all humankind.

His Highness conveyed to the Egyptian President the greetings of his brother His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and his wishes for health and wellness, and for Egypt and its brotherly people continued progress, development and stability.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the UAE's constant keenness to coordinate and consult with Egypt regarding issues and regional crises and ways to deal with them.

For his part, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi welcomed the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to his second country, Egypt, pointing out that the visits of His Highness provide a strong impetus to the path of bilateral fraternal and strategic relations, and joint action in the interest of the two brotherly peoples and achieving their aspirations for progress, development and prosperity.

During the meeting, the Egyptian President stressed Egypt's commitment to its firm stance towards Gulf security and rejecting any practices that seek to destabilize it.

The Egyptian President hosted an Iftar banquet for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation.

His Highness was accompanied by a delegation that includes His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Airports Board, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Deputy Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, and the Undersecretary of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, the UAE ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its permanent representative to the Arab League, Dr. Hamad Al Shamsi.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan left Cairo, where His Highness was bidding farewell to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
