It was at the end of June last year that the Swedish Customs discovered Hoforsbon's shipment of potency agents from a manufacturer in South Africa.

The Swedish Customs stopped the shipment with reference to the fact that it was a question of medicines and that Hoforsbon did not have a permit to import them.

Hoforsbon appealed the decision to the administrative court in Uppsala and said that it was a dietary supplement based on natural ingredients such as ginseng and goji berries.

He therefore believes that it would not be a problem to import and sell.

The Swedish Customs states in its reply to the court that the product's packaging states that the product constitutes an “erection booster” and should therefore be considered a medicine.

The Administrative Court says in its judgment that the product should be considered a medicine because the manufacturer says that the product should cure erection problems and that doctors should be consulted before use.

Hoforsbon will therefore not receive the ordered goods.
