In Chad, the day after President Idriss Déby's funeral, the rebels of the Front for Alternation and Concord in Chad (Fact) say they are ready to observe a ceasefire and to dialogue around a table.

The head of FACT, Mahamat Mahadi Ali, says he wants, more than ever, a political solution to the current crisis.
